PETTENON COSMETICS CONTINUES ITS COMMITMENT TO SCIENTIFIC RESEARCH ALONGSIDE FONDAZIONE UMBERTO VERONESI ETS

Pettenon Cosmetics S.p.A. SB renews and strengthens its collaboration with Fondazione Umberto Veronesi ETS, reaffirming its concrete commitment to scientific research, prevention, and the protection of women’s health.

In 2025, the company will fund a €35,000 research grant awarded to Dr. Veronica Cocetta, PhD, dedicated to studying ovarian cancer—one of the most aggressive and difficult-to-treat gynecological tumors.

The project aims to deepen the understanding of the mechanisms behind tumor resistance to traditional therapies, with the goal of identifying new strategies to make treatments more effective and, ultimately, improve both the outlook and quality of life for patients. Through this significant contribution, Pettenon Cosmetics seeks to turn support for research into a concrete message of hope for women facing this disease.

“Standing by scientific research means giving true value to what we do every day: caring for people, their beauty, and their health,” says Luigi Ambrosini, CEO of Pettenon Cosmetics. “We believe that true beauty is born from care and attention: supporting research is how we make this vision tangible and contribute to building a future where prevention and health protection are accessible to all.”

This focus on women’s health runs through and connects all the initiatives supported by Pettenon Cosmetics, shaping a coherent path across research, prevention, and solidarity. With the program “Io Vivo Sano in Azienda”, the company has made wellbeing an integral part of its culture, offering in 2025 to nearly 200 employees the opportunity to participate in screenings, training sessions, and targeted consultations on breast and skin cancer prevention. A journey that strengthens awareness and promotes health every day, both within the workplace and in the wider community.

This same message extends beyond the company walls, through the support of initiatives that bring together science and community. Among them, the PittaRosso Pink Parade, with the Alama Professional brand, which on October 19 will color the streets of Milan to raise funds for Fondazione Veronesi’s research on female cancers: a moment where solidarity, movement, and concrete closeness to those facing cancer come together in a single collective voice.

Through these actions, Pettenon Cosmetics reinforces a business vision that sees beauty not only as external expression, but as an act capable of generating a culture of health, mutual support, and lasting value for society.
